Lazing on a Sunday afternoon..... or something like that ;0)

Well that was a good day..

Lawn mowed in the morning.  A little bit of tinkering on the cars and then on my International canoe followed by a great sail on B.O.B ( the Sonata..and no, we still don't know What B.O.B. stands for.)

A great turn out for the dinghies and three keelboats took part in our first Sunday afternoon race for keelboats since...well.... I'm not sure but for some years anyway.

The Wind was a pleasant 6 to 8 knots but the start was delayed by fog (sea mist).

After a short delay our OD got us underway and while the dinghies raced two rounds of a triangular course close to the committee boat we keelboats headed off on a larger triangular to keep us well out of the way.

Race two followed shortly after the end if the first and this time the keelboats sailed a figure of 8 which again kept us well away from the dinghies.

In short it was a great afternoon's entertainment which was then topped off by the Grand Prix highlights. Heck of a day.

Thanks Mark and Liz for rounding the racing today and Thank you to the competitors that took part.

I might wash the car before sailing next Sunday. See you then.
