Sail4All - Capsize Recovery

Sail4All returns on Saturday 10 July (14.00) after a break for the Weymouth Dinghy Regatta. A free sail with safety boat and beachmaster support, next week's Sail4All will present our confidence building sailors with an opportunity to witness a demonstration of capsize recovery and the support that can be provided by a safety boat in attendance. The demonstration (and Golden Globe winning repartee) will be delivered by our resident RYA Senior Instructor, Mick Church, within plain sight of the CCSC pontoon. Even if you are not one of our confidence builders, you may find the demonstration worthwhile. If you would like to practise your capsize recovery drill under Mick's supervision, let him know after the demonstration and your wish will be his command.

Basso Cup. 31st July & 1st August

 Notice of Race The Basso cup is one of the oldest and most revered trophies in the Castle Cove Treasure chest. This year the dinghies will contest for the Basso cup in a series of four races.  When more than three races have been completed a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. The keelboats have the opportunity to race a long distance race on Saturday afternoon.   Castle Cove Sailing Club Open Day  Saturday 26th June 2021 Our Clubhouse and grounds will be open to visitors and members alike from 10.00 until 16.00. Everyone is welcome so do come along and enjoy a day out at your remarkable local Sailing Club.
